Experience a festive cantata in 3D
Bach wrote exquisite cantatas for the court chapel in Weimar, where the musicians performed on a balcony high above the duke. That chapel, with its unique acoustics, burned down in 1774 and was never rebuilt. Until now, that is, all thanks to virtual reality. A shipping container on 't Zand becomes a veritable 'Himmelsburg '.
This travelling installation was cancelled due to the corona pandemic. We hope to be able to offer the installation in full glory during the Bach Academy Bruges 2022.
