Inspiration between east and west
In Japanese there are dozens of words for the various aspects and qualities of the notion ‘beauty’. With that rich range of nuances in mind, Archipel is devoting an evening to the work of a number of promising young Japanese architects, with a particular focus on their way of incorporating natural surroundings. The poetry and hidden beauty of the everyday creations of a number of promising Flemish architects will also be given much deserved attention.
