Match made in heaven: Iván Fischer brings Liszt
Franz Liszt was not only one of the greatest pianists of his time. From his musical genius came a completely new conception of symphonic music: the abstract form language made way for lively character drawings, as illustrated in his Hungarian rhapsodies or his 'legends'. Fischer and Seon-Jin Cho join forces for Liszt's Piano concerto no. 2, one uninterrupted musical stream full of poetic qualities.
