Without Wanda Landowska (1879-1959), the early music universe would have looked completely different today. This Polish keyboard virtuoso was an early forerunner of the historically informed movement. She rediscovered the harpsichord and the 17th and the 18th century repertoire for this instrument. Skip Sempé brings homage to Landowska with an anthology extracted from her eclectic repertoire.
