Femke Gyselinck (1983) is a dancer and choreographer. Since she graduated from P.A.R.T.S. in 2006, she has worked as a freelance dancer, artistic assistant to Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker/Rosas, and a teacher and dance maker. Since 2023 she has been part of the artistic core of the dance organisation GRIP. In her own work, Femke Gyselinck explores a dance language that is intricately interwoven with music and combines expressive movement with daring but subtle performance. In the 24-25 season, during the Bach Academy, she will present the world premiere of Torment of Hearts. This collaboration with B'Rock Orchestra is a dialogue of dance, song and live music that expresses various forms of loneliness. You can also enjoy Gyselinck's choreography during Zonzo Compagnie’s family performance Karakuri.
