Pure dance in dialogue with new violin sounds

Over the past five years, Concertgebouw Brugge and ECCE have forged an intense artistic bond. This season Claire Croizé shares the intimate stage of the Chamber Music Hall with Ictus violinist Aisha Orazbayeva. Both explore the boundaries of their own medium and both are inspired by the other's presence. The repetitive, almost obsessive movement of the bow on the violin, for example, has much in common with the movements of the dancer. Expect an interaction between solo/duo, inside/outside, dance/music …
