A black flag flutters around in slow motion. Its movement and the flapping of the fabric become both choreography and sound. This symbol of resistance is flying in the historic heart of Bruges. In a six-hour-long installation – where the audience can enter or leave at any time – the performers take turns at waving a black flag in a single continuous action. This simple act is a symbol of enduring resistance. Its slowness alters our perception of time.
