In French argot a ‘soufflette’ is when someone blows smoke into someone else's mouth. This intimate act involves the most essential and yet most impalpable aspect of our existence: the air that keeps us alive. Soufflette is an exchange of air across the ages. With fourteen dancers, polyphonic song and wonderful floral costumes, choreographer François Chaignaud breathes new life into mediaeval traditions. Prepare for an intoxicating midsummer celebration.
