The blank page
From inspiration to the birth of new work
Driven by an uncontrollable urge to create, inspired artists commit their ideas to the blank page, the blank canvas or the blank screen. They do this alone as idiosyncratic artist-bohemians, or in intense collaborations with performer(s). A process full of technical and/or aesthetic challenges then ultimately results in their latest creation. In this festival, various creators proudly present their baby and we get a unique peek into their creative process. We are already preparing the sugared almonds and champagne!
