For years Trajal Harrell nursed the idea of creating a 'vogue choreography' to the music of piano phenomenon Keith Jarrett: an idea that turned out to be a stroke of genius! In addition to Jarrett's Köln Concert – one of the most successful piano solo recordings of all time – Harrell has also chosen songs by Canadian singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell for his first collaboration with the dance company of the Zurich Schauspielhaus. The Köln Concert is tender and vulnerable, a post-corona dance performance that focuses on bringing people closer together after the separation of social distancing.
