Dancers and musicians blow the assembly for Dance in Bruges creation

For THIS IS NOT « an act of love & resistance » Spanish choreographer Aina Alegre takes air as her subject: air as matter, air as a substance that connects your body and the outside world. Continuing her earlier zeal for body percussion and musicality, she shows how bodies act as channels of air, breath and movement. The all-female cast search for the connection between body, rhythm, voice and music – naturally, exclusively to wind instruments: trumpet, trombone and saxophone.
