Daniëlle Zawadi (1999) writes prose and performs spoken word. Her stories often revolve around what it means to be young in the Netherlands as a second-generation individual: born in the Democratic Republic of Congo but raised in the Netherlands. In her work, Zawadi addresses her bicultural background. She discusses friendship and how its definition changes as she grows older. As someone belonging to GenZ, she sees writing as an opportunity to capture her world as if it were a photo; one in which others can also recognize themselves through word choices that involve not only Dutch but also French and English.

Kobe Gregoir (1995) completed his studies at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague in 2020. Those who have followed Kobe a bit know that lately he has occasionally shared the stage with Jef Neve, Bart Defoort, The Hop Sh Bam Connection, and many others. After several European and Asian tours, he was commissioned by the Conservatory in The Hague to collaborate on a large city project called "Wij Den Haag" (We The Hague). Here, the idea emerged to combine spoken word/rap with jazz music. "This tastes like more." Due to the success of our "lichtpuntjes" concerts, Kobe collaborated more frequently with spoken word artist Daniëlle Zawadi. This resulted in a duo project where they make their mark across the Netherlands. With all these experiences, Kobe began composing, resulting in his first album under his own name.
