In 11 O'clock Liz Kinoshita examines how the emotional protagonist of a musical usually comes to a crucial realisation in the penultimate ’11 o’clock’ song. Kinoshita finds playful and dramaturgically interesting forms that capture, condense and maintain the intensity of this moment. Via dance and song, she explores the thoughts that flood into our minds when we come face-to-face with the truth.
