Part of Dagpas El Bacha
Despite their differences, as far as pianist El Bacha is concerned, Bach, Chopin and Rachmaninov are all linked by their preludes: Bach was an example to Chopin, who inspired Rachmaninov. And all three wrote preludes in all 24 keys, each with its own colour and expression. In a grand triptych of concerts, El Bacha unites these three grandmasters in a criss-cross dialogue, a dialogue done full justice by Chris Maene's innovative straight-strung piano.
Each concert includes a unique mix of all three composers.
