Virtuso voice teams up with Anima’s orchestral purity
In coming seasons, adventurer at heart Giovanni Antonini and Anima Eterna will search for the true voice of the 19th-century bel canto. 'Beautiful singing': is there anything more difficult to define? Together with soprano Julia Lezhneva, Antonini trace a straight vocal line from Mozart to Rossini: fluent, brimming with legato, but at the same time dancing agilely over the tempo. Bet that even Schubert's Unvollendete sings like never before?
