Resident artists celebrate together 20 (x 4) seasons Concertgebouw Brugge
At 20.02 on 20 February, 2002 Anima Eterna Brugge started the Concertgebouw Brugge story with Die Schöpfung. 20 years and dozens of exciting Anima productions later, our resident orchestra is back, this time with Die Jahreszeiten, Haydn's ode to rural life. Gripping images such as a fierce storm, a crowing cock and the languid heat of summer are in perfect hands with sound wizard Giovanni Antonini. Vox Luminis add their voices to the festive chorus of resident artists celebrating our birthday.
To our great regret, the two concerts by Anima Eterna Brugge and Vox Luminis, on 19 and 20 February, cannot take place. Numerous uncertainties make it impossible for our teams to present such a large-scale production with musicians from more than ten different countries at short notice. We look forward to welcoming Anima Eterna Brugge and Vox Luminis again later this season.
