Resident artists join forces in heavenly work
‘What else is our life but a series of preludes to that unknown Hymn … Death?’ Liszt wondered in the preface to his symphonic poem Les Préludes. Youthful love and innocence, stormy drama and transcendence follow each other in a work that is as sparkling as it is temperamental. After this dazzling fervour, our two resident artists seek the higher spheres in the mystical resignation of Fauré's famous Requiem, raised up by the voices of Yeree Suh and Thomas Bauer.
