During the darkest weeks of the year, Bruges will be lit up by the fifth edition of Brugge Foto, a unique event, with fascinating exhibitions and a comprehensive context programme. To make this Bruges city photography festival even more distinctive, its exhibitions are staged at ten eye-catching locations in the city centre, all of them within easy walking distance. Together these locations provide a pleasant walking tour. Brugge Foto highlights the great diversity of the photographic world: with documentary reports, photographic essays, contemporary conceptual photography, links with other media, etc. More than forty Belgian and foreign photographers – both established names and up-and-coming talents – are exhibiting their photo projects.
