Grandeur in a small format

Arrangements of Gustav Mahler's symphonies need not compromise in any way with regard to power. This version of his Third Symphony, arranged for four-hand piano, reveals the work in its pure essence. Arrangements of his orchestral lieder also testify to an unlikely eloquence. In his Rückert-Lieder and Des Knaben Wunderhorn Lieder – a source of inspiration for his Third Symphony – references to life, death and nature are never far away.
