Tradition meets innovation
For its 60th anniversary edition, the MA Festival is reviving an old tradition. The Belgian ensemble InAlto perform a monumental Vespro with a large Italian Baroque organ. This gives the music a fresh, new life. We may even get a healthy hint of what Monteverdi himself must have heard.
