this event is part of
The closing day of Jazz Brugge is focused on crossing intercultural borders. With the collaboration between Donder and Sigbjørn Apeland, KAAP presents a new production where the sound of jazz meets Norwegian stillness. Waed Bouhassoun explores new shades of traditional Syrian music and modern day society on the ud (an Arabian lute). Finally, we have the sextet Aka Moon rebooting Beethoven – making it sound like jazz and Beethoven go way back.
Individual tickets are also available for the Aka Moon concert.
