Three clarinet trios from three centuries

There is no better time than the early autumn to hear the red-brown tones of the clarinet trios of Beethoven and Brahms! Both Viennese masters bring a profound expressiveness to the Classical idiom. Hyper-expressive poignancy is also abundant in Magnus Lindberg's adventurous trio. A perfect fit for Libeer, Van Wauwe and Julien-Laferrière, all in their early thirties but already at the top of their field.
