Actors and orchestra in a fantastical musical story
You wouldn’t wish it on anyone: from one day to the next, a girl come and lives in your head. But that’s exactly what happened some two hundred years ago to composer Hector Berlioz. He even wrote a piece of music about it, his Symphonie fantastique. Actor Bert Verbeke plays the then still youthful French composer. Together with the orchestra, he explains how a masterpiece comes into being. The beloved muse, the aged organ teacher and the stubborn father also join us for this captivating KID concert.
