The word ‘vendetta’ has scarcely been uttered before all hell breaks loose in the orchestra. Star soloist Giuseppina Bridelli sings the most virtuoso hate and revenge arias from the operas of rivals Handel and Porpora, who between them set the London theatre scene ablaze.
