Scottish soprano Lorna Anderson is a much sought-after voice in the world of baroque music; she performs in Europe’s major concert halls and opera houses. She has worked with The King’s Consort before and also participates regularly in productions by The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Les Arts Florissants, The Sixteen, The English Concert, The Academy of Ancient Music and other illustrious names from the world of early music. Although the bulk of her repertoire can be situated in the baroque, Lorna Anderson is nevertheless perfectly at home in the classical and romantic eras. She also regularly sings contemporary music. Her remarkable versatility is evidenced by her CD recordings of music by composers such as Purcell, Handel, Haydn, Schubert, Britten and James MacMillan.
