In an attempt to weave their own story, five female performers explore their historical and mythological predecessors. Via them, we meet not only a sexually awakening Little Red Riding Hood, but also the Biblical ruler Herod, who turns out to be a motherly Queen Elizabeth. Our guide is the warm baritone of transgender opera singer Lucia Lucas, who has recognised and responded to her own inner voice. Together they all embark on a journey that leads to the (re)discovery of both a collective and an individual female voice.
