MAfestival 2019 explores the intriguing link between god, man and machine. As we become ever more intelligent, healthy and old, our advancing technology makes us more and more like the indomitable gods we have traditionally envied. MAfestival guides us through music about human gods and divine humans, past the rise of musical machines and the downside of technology, until finally, we are faced with the imminent reality: artificial intelligence is gradually taking over music, the world and even us.
