Louis Paul Boon’s masterpiece set to music

Season’s composer Daan Janssens and director Fabrice Murgia get to grips with Louis Paul Boon's novel Menuet. In this exciting piece of music theatre, existential themes such as loneliness, shame and sexual desire are the connecting thread. Menuet sketches a portrait of lonely people hovering between the normal and the abnormal, between speaking and silence. The audience gets to see the story three times, each time through the eyes of a different character. This gives a seemingly banal situation multiple layers of tragic depth.
