As is traditional, we open the New Year at the Concertgebouw with the whirling classics of the 'Kings of the Waltz' Johann Strauss Jnr and Snr. Star of the day is percussionist Colin Currie. He treats us to a virtuoso programme that sweeps us into a festive mood with lively rhythms and melodies. There is no more sparkling start to the year than a musical one. Cheers!
