A liberating experience of beauty
Are you familiar with morphing? Have you ever had a powerful urge to become someone else or to take on a different body? Kat Válastur explores physical transformation through movement and dance, and in Rasp Your Soul she indulges that urge. In this performance, solo dancer Enrico Ticconi enacts a series of contemporary mythological entities: from sex toy to narcissist to wild animal. This performance is partly dance, partly a choreographed concert. It is a manifestation of the elusive, a journey between reality and virtuality.
