Folk inspiration scintillating in brilliant orchestral works

Fervent and of unflagging intensity: that is how Daniel Müller-Schott's cello playing sounds. He conveys the superlative Rotterdam Philharmonic through the delightful tales of Dvořák's Cello Concerto. Even more Bohemian glow can be felt in Dvořák's Seventh Symphony. On just about every page, the patriotic composer reaches for the stars in his Czech sky.

This concert was originally to be conducted by Andrés Orozco-Estrada and played by cellist Daniel Müller-Schott. Unfortunately, due to illness, both are unable to attend. French conductor Alexandre Bloch and South Korean cellist Jaemin Han will take over the programme unchanged.
