A series of performances about the purity of the naked body
Since 2009, Maarten van der Put has been compiling his Nude Study Menu, a series of stand-alone performances that revert to the essence, the pure expressiveness of the human body: mankind in all of its nakedness. Van der Put draws from a centuries-old source of artistic inspiration: the female body. He also employs a number of theatrical tricks. During December Dance 19, United Cowboys bring us the solo work Silence the Blood, with dancer Florencia Martina.
