Tristan Driessens travels from Istanbul to the Low Countries
The connecting thread of Tristan Driessens’ roamings is the city of Istanbul. Rooted in the East, his music is in a mutually enriching dialogue with forms much closer to his Belgian homeland, especially jazz, classical and folk. In this project Turkey, Greece and Belgium turn out to be surprisingly close together.
