Earthly rituals, transcendence and dance all come together in the unique symphonic concert composer Bushra El-Turk has put together for All Arias. With her orchestral work Mosaic as our starting point, we commute between meditation and trance and between spirituality and dancing energy. Debussy, Bartók, Khachaturian and Wim Henderickx are Bushra’s companions on a journey that is pregnant with the insight that each of us is a mosaic of identities and that ‘uprooting’ is a fount of vibrant creativity.
