In Tactile Quartet(s) Vera Tussing examines how an audience can be engaged sensorially. Four musicians play passages from various quartets (Schubert, Price, Haas, Shaw...). Everything stems from touch: a bow on a string, an arm on a shoulder, an acoustic sensation on the skin. The dancers are go-betweens, linking musicality and the power of the tactile – the sense of touch – in a choreography that oscillates between feeling, seeing and hearing.
