The masses are mobilising, uniting against injustice or for a better climate. They group on the social media or wreak havoc in a city centre. They rebel, swell, seek an outlet, erupt… and then collapse and crumble. With video footage from an area of conflict and oppression, and music that bubbles up from improvisations or clings to a distant past, The mass man tells a timeless story about what unites or divides, what strengthens or dazzles. Are you part of it or an outsider?
