During her many years as a dancer and choreographer, Lisi Estaràs has developed her own methodology. She calls it ‘Monkeymind’. At the age of 50, she has now realised that she has always been concerned with the place of words in dance. And so now, for the first time, she is bringing that to the fore: Saying the words we say isn’t always the same as showing what we say. What is the performer thinking while she/he is executing movements? Drawing inspiration from other 50-year-old women and from the work of Ludwig Wittgenstein, Estaràs creates an autobiographical physical fiction that questions the absurd limits of communication.
