(B)its of Dance

A platform for creators and audience

During (B)its of Dance, the three Dance in Bruges partners (Concertgebouw Brugge, Cultuurcentrum Brugge and KAAP) join forces. This festival is a showcase for contemporary dance, but it is also an exciting platform for dance expertise. That was more than ever the case during 2021’s digital edition when everything was governed by a search for new corona-proof working strategies. In 2022, choreographers and dancers will once again be sharing surprising practices and presenting their diamonds in the rough, such as a visit to Shadow Libraries or Ecstatic Singing. With a premiere by Tuur Marinus in the MaZ, a performance by Benjamin Vandewalle in the Chamber Music Hall and a surprise in Theaterzaal Biekorf, a variety of contemporary choreographers will be offered a Bruges stage.
