Event organisers are more than ever looking for ways to make their event something special. As an international arts centre, with a great love of culture and architecture, we are happy to facilitate this. Together with the client, we search for original ways to surprise their guests. The Concertgebouw is a fount of experiences and, if desired, our artistic activities, art and architecture can be incorporated into any event.

Musical intermezzo during your event

For conferences, we can provide live piano music in our entrance hall during guest registration. Would you like to have a musical intermezzo during your event? We can help you with that too. From classical to modern to jazz… We can even feature young local talent. We have everything in-house to make your event something unique! Having your own private concert is surprisingly inexpensive. And why not surprise your guests with a behind-the-scenes tour, before or after dinner?

Business meets art

The Concertgebouw always hosts changing art collections or photography exhibitions, especially in the Foyer where they can provide inspiring networking opportunities. In 2012, a new work was added to the permanent art collection in the form of Luc Tuymans' Angel mural. Angel was installed in a side corridor on the second balcony. The space in which it is located was renamed the Angel Room. This is the ideal space for a small-scale event or a break-out session. Thanks to its central location, your guests will be back in no time at all in one of the other rooms or in the Foyers for networking and catering. The Angel Room, with its capacity of 40 persons in theatre arrangement, gives your event an intimate character.

A culinary trip

There is always something going on in the Concertgebouw, so your event will definitely be remembered by all attendees. Your event will be a culinary trip thanks to our preferred caterers. They will pamper you and your guests with all kinds of delicious food according to your wishes and take care of your reception, dinner, coffee break or quick lunch down to the last detail. For the real connoisseurs, there is, for example, a dinner-on-the-scene, in which you play the leading role yourself! You dine with an exclusive and breathtaking view of the iconic Concert Hall. Put musicians in the hall, where the audience normally sits, and create an upside-down world. End your dinner with a dance party on stage.

4 reasons for organising your event in Bruges

More and more companies, PCOs and event organisers are finding their way to historic Bruges. And there is more than enough reason for that!

  1. Bruges is easily accessible by highway or train and you stay far away from the traffic jams around Antwerp or Brussels.
  2. Are you expecting a very large group or do you need a lot of different rooms and options? We are happy to work with the brand new Bruges Meeting & Convention Centre (BMCC) - at walking distance from the Concertgebouw - to answer all your questions.
  3. Bruges also offers numerous possibilities outside the Concertgebouw for giving your guests a good time. You can explore historic Bruges by boat, on foot, by bicycle or perhaps even by carriage or Segway. Or indulge yourself while shopping in the many beautiful boutiques Bruges has to offer.
  4. Even the Michelin and Gault-Millau ratings know it's worth doing in Bruges: the city boasts an impressive number of renowned (star) restaurants. Culinary delights both inside and outside the Concertgebouw.
