In EVOL, Claire Croizé and Etienne Guilloteau transform the words of Rainer Maria Rilke into movement. Four dancers embody Rilke’s Duino Elegies, each of them drawing on a unique personality and dance style. David Bowie's music pulses among the four bodies like an absentee dance partner. Music and choreography develop independently of each other. An intriguing and humorous mix arises of the familiarity of the songs and the strangeness of their new context.
