Zoomers

Generation Z is the 'youth of today', popularly known as Zoomers. Self-confident, and outspoken, these youngsters are eager to make their mark on society. This festival is therefore all about them. In In What We Trust youngsters discuss hope and the future. Griet Teck's new film for the Souterliedekens Project – which we present on 15 September – focuses on the care of youngsters at a vulnerable point in their lives. But we open with Season’s Thinker and children's rights commissioner Caroline Vrijens and the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie. Just like the skaters of Skatepark, they show us that this generation is bursting with talent and zooming to go.
