Caring for a new generation in a multimedia location project

Growth and pain often go uncomfortably hand in hand. Both are of all times and both require proper care and attention. Together with Astrid Stockman, filmmaker Griet Teck made a loving video portrait of sixteen sisters and psychiatric nurses from the Congregation of the Sisters of Merciful Jesus. A second testimony focuses on the young person calling for help - Neejten, the pseudonym of a young person with mental vulnerability and co-creator of this second film. With polyphonic Souterliedekens – Dutch-text songs of supplication – the singers of Psallentes forge this double premiere into a moving whole.
