Music as time art
Music expresses time. When we experience it, it can even alter our perception of time. Composers often draw inspiration from time, both as a phenomenon and as the time in which they are living. In this course musicologist, designer and composer Klaas Coulembier tries to comprehend the intimate bond between time and music by approaching time from various angles, all linked to the compositions and composers featured in this concert season.
