On Saturday, 18 November, we present a programme that features music from every corner of the world. Kalfa/Dumitriu/Badenhorst take us to a bygone age with Black Sea Songs, the ancient songs of the Black Sea region. After four years, Bahraini-British trumpet player Yazz Ahmed once again performs new music; the Jazz Brugge audience get an exclusive sneak peek. Flautist Naïssam Jalal’s Healing Rituals are eight new compositions that stimulate the imagination. And finally – after his impressive 2018 performance – James Brandon Lewis once again convinces us of his towering talent with his powerful new album Eye of I.
