Minimalism for one to six pianos

The festival Too many keys, scheduled for 10 and 11/04/2020, was moved to 05.09.20. We regret to inform you that this concert evening on 05.09.20 cannot take place and will be definitively cancelled. You can donate your ticket value to our solidarity fund or have it converted into a voucher. Please let us know via the digital form what you wish to do with your ticket(s).

Using only minimal means, the music of Steve Reich and Philip Glass paints vast emotional soundscapes: musical tapestries full of grand panoramas, slowly shifting patterns and hypnotic glimpses. Their now legendary works are set alongside little-known gems by ‘forgotten minimalist’ Julius Eastman. His rebellious, uncompromising attitude gave birth to an oeuvre that can truly be described as incredibly brilliant. Kate Moore’s Dances & Canons is hushed, poetic and sometimes raw. With her refined and layered piano explorations, she will undoubtedly push you towards an unfamiliar and different world.
