Get caught up in the polyphony of the Golden Age
Bruges experienced its Golden Age during the Renaissance. And if the Renaissance had a soundtrack, it would undoubtedly be polyphonic. It is therefore only logical that polyphonic music is at the very heart of GOLD. Not only will lovers of this glorious music get to enjoy it in first-rate concerts, they will also be able to experience what it feels like to sing it and be surrounded by voices. In this polyphonic workshop, Hendrik Vanden Abeele, the artistic director of Psallentes, outlines the challenges of polyphonic vocal music and explains step by step how to master it.
