Visual artist gives insight into his artistic practice
David Claerbout's video installations travel the world. His latest work Wildfire (meditation on fire) was created for the exhibition Memling Now in Sint-Janshospitaal. In this lecture he talks about his work process, the complexity of digital media, and his visual practice. He also explores changes in our visual culture and the effects of an increasingly digital environment on our physical and sensory reflexes.
