Author, columnist and editor Dalilla Hermans was born in Rwanda and adopted by a Belgian family. She has made it her mission to transcend polarisation and open up a dialogue between people, regardless of their origin. In 2017 she published the book Brief aan Cooper en de wereld (Letter to Cooper and the world), in 2018 the children's book Brown Girl Magic and in 2019 the thriller Black-out and the theatre monologue Epiphany, written for NTGent. For the Concertgebouw, Dalilla is casting her illuminating eye over the new 19-20 season, in which identity is central. She will talk to artists and youngsters and write and talk about the search for her own identity and that of others.
