Concertgebouw Events at IMEX in Frankfurt

At the end of May, Concertgebouw Brugge, together with Visit Bruges and BMCC, participated in the IMEX fair in Frankfurt. An exciting opportunity for all of us, as IMEX is a renowned exhibition for the event and conference industry, attracting thousands of professionals from all over the world every year.

Our participation at IMEX thus offered us the opportunity to strengthen our international appeal. Thanks to the cooperation with Visit Bruges and BMCC, we were also able to present Bruges as an interesting city for events to a wide audience of potential customers and partners.

Colleagues An Merlier and Katrien Van Eeckhoutte got in touch with renowned venues with a thriving venue rental business such as the Alte Oper in Frankfurt and the Barbican in London; meetings which obviously paved the way for further cooperation and exchange of expertise on a European level.

In addition, IMEX was an excellent platform to establish new business contacts and reinforce existing relationships. Networking opportunities with professionals from different sectors and potential clients will hopefully result in valuable collaborations and an increase in bookings, which in turn can promote the growth and success of our Concertgebouw.

On top of that, we were introduced to the latest trends and developments in the event industry. IMEX offered a wide range of educational sessions, workshops and expert presentations, allowing us to enhance our knowledge and skills.

Finally, our participation in IMEX strengthened (Concertgebouw) Bruges' position as a leading destination for events and conferences.
